BIRTH :
The organisation Islampur Ramkrishnapally Rural Welfare Society [ IRRWS ] was founded in March 1995 with some energetic
young youth, dedicated social workers, educators, volunteers and retired government officials. Uttar Dinajpur district is
one of the most backward district in all respect in West Bengal and there was no platform to address issues of rural and
urban development. Thus the concept of IRRWS and It is a neutral platform for multi-sectoral development. Now IRRWS is a registered
non-profit organization in West Bengal of India.

Mission : Is to aware the rural people about their Health, Education and basic rights, assists them to recognize and improve
their potentialities through skill formation, knowledge sharing and transfer of technical know how, guide them to generate
economic benefit for promoting sustainable development in rural economy.
Vision : In the 21st century IRRWS is poised to be the pioneer for resource center assuring social-orientation, economic
growth, local capacity building and empowerment of progress and success. IRRWS's vision is to achieve a value-oriented sustainable
society based on people for a complete social transformation.
